On this episode, I'm sharing how I am approaching goal setting in a radically different way as I step into a new calendar year. Instead of rushing to set big, rigid goals, I talk about slowing down, leaning into the wintering season, and only planning for the first quarter (or season) of the year. This approach is less about pressure and more about intention, clarity, and choosing what actually supports my life and business.
I also dive into how I’m thinking about goal setting moving forward, including my word of the year and why that framework feels more aligned right now.
I share what to consider when choosing a word of the year, along with a few things to avoid so it doesn’t turn into another source of stress or self criticism.
This episode is an invitation to explore a different approach to goal setting and create a vision for the year ahead that feels grounded and calm and still successful and fulfilling both personally and professionally.
